American Dance University's 50-HR Dance Teacher & Choreographer Certification Course is uniquely designed for both regular people like you who wish to become dance teachers AND professional dance choreographers who wish to register with American Dance Movement and be eligible to choreograph/teach at ADM-affiliated camps & classes nationwide. Becoming a member of American Dance Movement is a great way to let gyms, schools and dance studios at which you wish to teach know that you are a professional, highly educated and skilled dance teacher. No formal dance experience is required to attend, however, we do recommend that you have had at least some dance experience (style does not matter, and yes - zumba counts!) prior to the start of the training. Point is: if you are waiting for the day when you can finally do a fouette turn to become a dance teacher, we believe you are denying yourself the opportunity of a lifetime. When you become certified by American Dance, you can start teaching dance NOW - we guarantee it.
